Who we are
Founded in 2016, we are a child-centered non-profit development organization and Christian faith-based committed to the needs of children and striving to advance children’s rights and equality for girls. We help and assist children whose support structures are weak or not established at all in DRC due to the effect of war’s violence and poverty through child sponsorship and women’s empowerment.
Why do we exist ?
Every day in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), numerous children suffer from the effects of abuse, neglect, and poverty.
The supportive structures created to nurture and protect them (such as families, schools, and health centers) are often weak or non-existent at all.
Many children’s futures are limited by obstacles such as violence, disease, lack of education, hunger, abuse and mistreatment. These obstacles include scourges such as physical, emotional and sexual violence, early marriage and childbirth, forced labor, recruitment into armed groups, trafficking, female genital mutilation, HIV/AIDS, malaria, etc…
Through the power of football and cinema, Fobeworld enables children and young people to stay on track, receive an education, develop new skills, overcome challenges, prevent abuse and illness, be inspired and discover opportunities to create lasting impact in their lives, those of their families and their communities.

Who do we work with ?
We work with children, their families and their communities. We put the priority on the most disadvantaged and marginalized children – While most children grow up with layers of support around them, we works with children when these supports structures are fragile or not established at all.
